Creation of the universe. Part 2. Heavens and earth were joined together at the beginning.

In part 1 we explained the creation of the universe began from nothing. 

بَدِيعُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ وَإِذَا قَضَىٰٓ أَمْرًۭا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُۥ كُن فَيَكُونُ
To Him is due the primal origin of the heavens and the earth: When He decreeth a matter, He saith to it: "Be", and it is.
(Surat:2, Verse:117)

This is the basic concept of big bang theory- The universe is created from nothingness. The universe is not eternal, it has a beginning and it has an age. Latest scientific evidences says that the age of the universe is around 13.8 billion years. 

In just 10-34 seconds (10 raised to -34) the primordial universe was the size of a golf ball. It expanded rapidly and formed sub-atomic particles. Gradually, the hydrogen nucleus, the atom, stars and planets formed. 

See what the Holy Qur'an says
أَوَلَمْ يَرَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ كَانَتَا رَتْقًۭا فَفَتَقْنَٰهُمَا ۖ وَجَعَلْنَا مِنَ ٱلْمَآءِ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ حَىٍّ ۖ أَفَلَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
Do not the Unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together (as one unit of creation), before we clove them asunder? We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?
(Surat:21, Verse:30)


These are very latest discoveries happened in last 100 years. How could an illiterate prophet 1400 years ago have known about these things? All these are clear proofs that the Qur'an is nothing but the words of Allah, the Creator of the universe.

Shape of universe is flat !

From the Qur'an's statement, that the 7 different universes are stacked one on top of the other, we can understand that the shape of the universes explained by the Qur'an is flat. All the observational experiments known today prove that the universe is flat. Observations by NASA's Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe (WMAP), the BOOMERanG experiment (Balloon Observations of Millimetric Extragalactic Radiation and Geophysics, and the European Space Agency's Planck space observatory have all proved that the universe is flat. We need to understand that all these observations took place after AD 2000. Multiverse concept is explained in Qur'an

In the previous parts 1-3 we have seen the scientific facts like the creation of the universe out of nothing- the big bang, the concept of the whole universe was joined together in the initial stage and the universe was in the state of a smoke or fog in the beginning from which the stars began to form.
