Creation of the universe in the Qur'an - Part 3. The dark smoke of the primordial universe is mentioned in the Qur'an.

The Big Bang is only the first step in the creation of the universe. After the Big bang, space is created, time has begun and the matter is created. After the Big bang, the universe expanded exponentially in a very, very small fraction of a second. This phenomenon, known as inflation, occurred much faster than the speed of light. The space itself expanded and reached the size of a golf ball in just 10-34 (10 raised to -34) seconds from nothing. In the first second after the Big Bang, the entire universe was filled with subatomic particles such as neutrons, protons, electrons, anti-electrons, and neutrinos. 

Within the first minutes of the Big Bang, subatomic particles - neutrons and protons joined together to form the nucleus of atoms. The nuclei of deuterium, tritium, helium, and lithium   began to form. This is known as the Big Bang nucleo synthesis.

Within a few minutes, the extreme temperature of the first seconds of the universe had dropped dramatically. After the first 20 minutes of the creation of the universe, the temperature dropped to a level unsuitable for nuclear fusion, but the primordial universe still had a very high temperature. It was impossible to have neutral atoms at this extreme temperature. The atoms were in the plasma state. The electrons and protons were all in the form of scattered plasma soup.

In this plasma state, light particles called photons could not travel. Therefore, from the first 20 minutes until about 370,000 years, the universe was in the form of a huge dark smoke with no light emitting out. About 370,000 years after the Big bang, the universe cooled and electrons began to gather around the nucleus of protons and neutrons to form neutral atoms. This is known as recombination.Neutral atoms have the property of transmitting light or photons. Thus the photons resulting from the Big bang began to appear outside for the first time. 

370 thousand to about 1 billion years after the Big Bang is called dark ages.  The dark smoke began to become transparent dense gas slowly. These dense gas regions by gravity formed the stars around 1 billion years after the big bang.

Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation CMBR is such radiation generated in the early stages of the Big bang. American scientists Arno Penzias and Robert Wilson first discovered cosmic microwave background radiation in 1964. In 1978 they were awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics for this discovery. 

The fact that the early universe was in the form of a smoke or fog in the early stages of the creation of the universe is something that was only discovered in very modern times. We see this in the Holy Qur'an revealed 1400 years ago through the tongue of an illiterate man who could not read or write. When mentioning the creation of the universe Qur'an says 

ثُمَّ ٱسْتَوَىٰٓ إِلَى ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَهِىَ دُخَانٌۭ فَقَالَ لَهَا وَلِلْأَرْضِ ٱئْتِيَا طَوْعًا أَوْ كَرْهًۭا قَالَتَآ أَتَيْنَا طَآئِعِينَ

Moreover He directed himself to the sky, and it had been (as) smoke: He said to it and to the earth: "Come ye together, willingly or unwillingly."; They said: "We come willingly"

(Surat:41, Verse:11)

فَقَضَىٰهُنَّ سَبْعَ سَمَٰوَاتٍۢ فِى يَوْمَيْنِ وَأَوْحَىٰ فِى كُلِّ سَمَآءٍ أَمْرَهَا ۚ وَزَيَّنَّا ٱلسَّمَآءَ ٱلدُّنْيَا بِمَصَٰبِيحَ وَحِفْظًۭا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ تَقْدِيرُ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْعَلِيمِ

So He ordained them seven heavens in two days, and revealed in every heaven its affair. And We adorned the lower heaven with lights, and (made it) to guard. That is the decree of the Mighty, the Knowing.

(Surat:41, Verse:12)

Only recently science discovered that in the early days of the universe it was in the form of a smoke. How is it possible that this was recorded in the Qur'an 1400 years ago? These verses prove that the Holy Qur'an is not the words of man, but the words of Allah, the Creator of the universe.
